I don't have many friends and the friends I do have either live far away or in a different country.
I try to make friends online, but the friendships don't last. I've joined online communities that share my interests, but it just makes me feel lonely. Due to social anxiety, I don't have the courage or confidence to join local groups or community events.
I'm on medication for depression and anxiety as well as getting talking therapy for my depression but this feeling of loneliness keeps coming back. I'm not sure what to do.
