Has anyone successfully started their own business?

I have both autism and adhd, and I have had so much difficulty with employment, and I am now looking into starting my own business. I know I will need to declare everything so I am doing my research  but it will be a couple of months before I start with it properly. Do you have any advice?

    I have been self employed for the last 20 years ish. I find it tough sometimes and need the odd day off when there is lots of things I need to do outside of work but that’s why I love it. I would just say try to do something you have an interest in as this will make your life easier.  I feel so lucky as I always found it incredibly difficult being employed.
