Piped music

Does anyone else have huge problems with piped music in nearly every public place? I have to carry ear defenders everywhere I go and the vast majority of shop owners etc get refuse to turn it off and usually get unpleasant about it too. It is becoming so hard to access just about everything in public places.  I am hoping ot find a solicitor who will write a template letter confirming that turning the music off is a reasonable adjustment to ask for.  I have spoken to the EASS and they are surprised that I'm having so much trouble getting music turned off and they believe that it is discriminatory when whops etc refuse to turn it off. Has anyone found a way to enforce rights over this issue?
