What has everyone been up to today?

Hi so today has been ok I met some friends for Sunday lunch. I arrived into town over an hour early as I needed a few things sadly the shops I wanted to go to were closed as it’s a Sunday so I walked around for a while went to the place to meet my friends really early so I thought I’m not waiting around so I went for a walk and one of the shops I wanted to go to had opened up so I went inside and there were cats everywhere and kittens. I picked up one and gave it a cuddle it dug it’s claws into me snuggling up to me and started purring then out of no where Bambi the Jack Russell came running up to me the kitten broke free and ran off I sat down and Bambi jumped on my lap and started licking me to death lol I then put her down and said hello to the other animals and Bambi was following me around I sat down again by some cats and Bambi jumped up for more cuddles lol I spend a good 20 minutes in that shop chatting to the staff and playing with the animals. I then went back to meet my friends and had a nice lunch and spent a few hours with them before coming home. I am now watching tv and chilling out. What have you guys been up to?

  • Today I went to work, walked my mum's dog, hung the washing out on the line and potted up all the plants I bought almost two weeks ago. Thankfully they were all ok (I've been watering them). I put pink and white cyclamens in the stone urn, and the pink pansies in the old terracotta pots, and the violas in the raised bed along the driveway. Then I cycled to my mum's for dinner and back again. I'm really pleased I managed to get all the planting done because I'm busy again for the next week and a half and they would probably have been dead by then.
