I have had issues at work recently and just been diagnosed with ASD . My employer would like a copy of myASD report  to send to his medical , HR and legal team I worried in case they use the report against me . I said I will happily see a medical expert but the a lot of private stuff in my report from my childhood so I have not given him it . May be he wants to help me may be not . Confused

  • I would get some legal advice. Citizen's advice might be able to help. But I think that NAS also have a service to give employment advice. Also worth talking to your Union if you are part of one.

    I would not give them a copy of the report. I would be happy to give them a copy of my GP patient summary, this would have an ASD diagnosis on it and is a medical document.
