What has everyone done today

Hi today I got up phoned my friend to see how his dad was doing. Then I caught the bus into town and took my coat to be sticked up as it had a tare. I then walked around the shops got a McDonald’s for lunch then I went back to pick up my coat and there were people singing songs from beauty and the beast. I then met a friendly Jack Russell called beast lol. Then I caught the bus home got some food for my tea later then went over to chat to my neighbour. Got in then had a nap and I am going to chill for the rest of the day now. What has everyone else been doing today?

  • I tried to fix a break light in my car, but had to get some help, it was only a small job and really simple, so I'll be able to do it myself next time.

    I went to the local fruit and veg market, bought some of my favourite apples and some dates and took Fearn for a walk and then did some gardening the a shower to recover from it all.

    I'm considering getting some more apple trees and probably some pears too, I was thinking of those patio ones that grow in a big pot?

    I also had a look at my hazel hedge for what can be coppiced this year and how useful the stems might be, I'm thinking of making a gate if I can get enough of the right stems? I've never tried that sort of thing before, but I've seen it done and it looks fairly straight forward.

    I particularly like Granny Smith apples best. What sort of dog is Fearn just out of curiosity? I've just watched an old Top Gear on BBC 3 and it was awesome! Gardening sounds fun. I sometimes watch Gardeners' World if it's on, I find it quite calming.
