Career options Aspergers

Hello

My partner who is waiting for a diagnosis of aspergers is looking for alternative career options. He struggles being around others and has mainly worked in factories and currently merchandising but finding this overwhelming sometimes. He's applied for multiple jobs working from home but has had no responses so is now looking at doing an IT course, he's very good with data and detail so he's looking into being a data analyst. 

Just wondered if anyone knew what this job might be like, he's looking for minimal interaction with others and enjoys following processes.

    I work in IT (it's quite a common career/industry apparently for autistic people). I don't work in our Data and Analytics team but it's a big team (about 30 people). Data and Analytics is a big thing these days, so a lot of companies are investing in it. The tools/techniques used will depend on the company but common ones are Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Python. Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are also getting very popular now xx
