Hello everyone
I've just joined. Hoping to feel less alone with this mindset.
Struggling with work - totally misunderstood.
No diagnosed but on the referral list for past 19 months.
Struggle with noise, people working to 'their' timelines and deadlines.
Had interview for new job today - my masking was amazing and they offered me the job, but it would be office based (I currently work in the community and at home), in small office with other people. My heart doesn't want the role, but I want to leave this job.
Had hundreds of jobs in my life. 5 in the last 3 years. I'm really good at getting jobs and have lots of skills and qualifications, but I struggle with boredom and working with incompetent people.
Anyway, hello.

Also, if you are in England, have you considered asking for your NHS referral to be switched to a private provider via the Right to Choose pathway? That's what I did, at the recommendation of my NHS psychiatrist, after I'd already been waiting for two years for my NHS assessment.
Depending on the NHS waiting times in your area, this could give you access to an assessment considerably sooner than if you continue on your current waiting list.
