.
Sorry guys i didn't read the community rules beforehand which i should have done,
Also although i have now removed the post, i am aware my range involved minors and i would have of course ensured i had parental permission first and have followed all my univeristy's ethical guidelines. Also i am DBS checked and would have sent a copy of this to any participants.
Error in my judgement for posting on here but i can assure you no harm was meant i was merely trying to reach out to families who may be suitable to take part in my research.
Hi Amber
Has this study been approved by this society?
There are guidelines item 6 on the community rules. You really do need to ask the Moderators' permission.
Also this is undergraduate research. You shouldn't use websites like this to get respondents as you cannot be certain they are valid.
Your sibling age range involves minors. You absolutely mustn't do this sort of thing. Think about why researchers need vetting to work with children! There are very serious legal issues here.
Also there are strict rules about research consent procedures and proper confidential disposal, which on a dissertation project you cannot guarantee.
You must consult your supervisor about this. Warwick University shouldn't be giving out bad advice to undergraduates.
