I switched channels last night into the middle of a TV debate on the Welfare Reforms (possibly the same one I came in at the tail end of the previous night).
What struck me was one of the guests was Edwina Currie, of the same persuasion as the current Government.
I was astonished how rude and disrespectful she was to other speakers. She just kept shouting and shouting and shouting over the top of any other person's attempts to speak, ignoring the efforts of the host presenter. It was extraordinarily selfish behaviour.
Like a dalek she was dominating things to the exclusion of all others - the master race - exterminate all scroungers. Exterminate.....exterminate.....
Clearly not one to consider in the least any other person's point of view or circumstances.
Doesn't bode well for getting any compassion over disabled person's allowances from the current Government.
It amazes me that someone as rude and self-opinionated as that can get into positions of Government. I know all they say about what makes a politician, but even they SURELY, have standards of dignity and good conduct.
