In a table top deuterium fuelld fusion power generator project?
The work involves doing experiments in your own home, attending regular collaborative meetings and generally pushing back the boundaries of human technolgy on a shoestring, whilst handling the two main protagonist/workers.
The upside is that it's real, their process works as they say it does, so far and I believe it could indeed be carried to point where it actually produces power as well as neutrons and helium.
The downside is the way our society deals with such things,nowadays..

As much as it sounds ideal, I'm likely to divert my attention towards using the provided materials to build a pound shop starship and go AWOL.
sounds too experimental and likely has risk of radiation poisoning or contamination done unprofessionally not in a safe clean lab with protective gear lol
