Hell is other people

I had a pi$$y morning.

My Artist friend missed calls from a guy who was coming to sort out his drains. I had to head over to his to sort out his appointment.

Then, I headed to another friend's place. He was meant to square me up, as I booked an MOT for him. His mum was there, and I asked for the money. She was aghast, still grieving her dog. But I'm trying to make it up with him.

While I was away, the plumber arrived with the bill for the Hot Press repair. Again, I have to wait for him to contact me, again.

  • BIt of a challenge there, yes.

  • my worst nightmare would be a cruise, being trapped at sea with herds of others and people wanting me to "enjoy myself" by doing things I detest.

I've been on one and enjoyed it.

There are advantages over conventional holidays and a major one for me was having a base to go back to whenever I liked.

So, we'd have lunch and then I could go back to the room.

That was a big difference over a non cruise holiday.

There is nothing I had to do that I didn't want to but the food was wonderful and seeing several different places all at once, without conventional flying and carrying cases, all for just a day, was great.

I think I could go on but my point is that this type of holiday suited me very well.

I went with Princess by-the-way, so not so many children as other cruise lines might have and it was only around 7 nights.

We were able to just drive to the port, which was really nice.

I think it's quite an old-fashioned way to travel the slowness of which is vastly better for me than the usual fast pace of life.

I said I wouldn't go on but I did Blush
