Hi there. Am recently diagnosed with Autism (and ADHD) as a 44 year old adult and starting to realise and accept the impact it has had on my life and those around me in particular. I am looking to find a regular support group and wondered if anybody had any good suggestions for some, particularly around relationships.
My preference is in person but have struggled to find any around in and around Southampton when searching online where I live other than specific parent/child ones. However, would be happy to take suggestions for an online one, particularly if anybody knows one that covers adult ND/NT relationships.
Any similar Facebook group suggestions also welcome.
Thanks
Hiya fellow Somerset folk!
I'm in beautiful Wells...
Whereabouts are you?
Hi, there is AIM on the Isle of Wight. Autism inclusion matters. Not sure you have to be a resident of the island though x
Hi
Have you come across Tony Attwood's books?
He recommends Ashley Stanford's book 'Asperger Syndrome and Long-Term Relationships"
Hope it's helpful and that you find a support group.
Hi, is there a support group in Somerset? I am a parent looking for someone to talk to (my son an adult, late diagnosis).

Can't help as we live Somerset..I'd suggest Putting Southampton in the main title
