That's all folks. 23 years of marriage and a 14 year old son and my husband is going in search of the happiness I wasn't able to provide.
He can't see passed the past, won't forgive and says I have hurt him too badly. He says I am too different since my diagnosis 5 years ago.
This morning I am angry. I have done the tears yesterday. They will probably come back now.
Trying to work out how to co exist in the same house until he actually goes now. He slept in our bed last night, this is where my anger started.
It's difficult, whoever you are and whatever you're situation, make him sleep on the sofa. Sounds like he has problems with your diagnosis, would he go to marriage guidance counselling with you so as you can sort out an amicable seperation?
People change over 23 year's, it maybe nothing to do with your diagnosis and just a gradual drift away from what you had when you were younger and your diagnosis is a peg to hang stuff on.
We have been doing couple's therapy for a while now which has resulted in him realising how unhappy he is and making this Dec's
