....has anyone read it? Just looking for opinions.
It seems good for those awaiting diagnosis. It was recommended today on the Autistic at 40 podcast.
Thanks for the review, it means more coming from someone with lived experience.
Hoping it will help my understanding of the diagnosis process..
I must say that I am impressed. The book is extremely well written. It's a guide for an NT therapist on how to deal with the issues of ND people. I checked the chapter about masking, and it says that masking is necessary to live in society and avoid bullying, and to NOT advise the ND to drop the mask unless in a special, safe environment. That's simply common sense and a solid advice.
That's totally different from what I was told by therapists and counsellors, but they had an IQ under 85.
Not yet in lib. system. it just came out on feb 21st of this year, so.. Early days.
good notion.
It's out of the jurisdiction, so I will be ok. Thanks, citizen. always keep your eyes open for breaches of the Law!
Thanks Dredd. I try and keep off those sites now..going straight.

Good idea, discovered that I could check online..but they don't have it.
Maybe you could go in there:
[ REMOVED. I am the Law!]
Click on GET to download. Calibre or other EPUB reader needed to read.
Have you checked with your local library to see if they may have a copy?
Yes, thank you both. It is the cost that's stopping me at the moment..
It has got a hefty enough price tag! I will investigate ...
I have not read it, but it seems like it is a really useful book.
