I have a month paid holiday leave from work in July.
I have to take it then as I work in an education job.
Any suggestions as to where to go with not a great deal of money?
I also don’t know who to go on holiday with.
I’m not sure I manage my life well. I have never managed to use holiday time successfully.
I don’t want to end up wasting that ‘precious holiday time’.
Good Questions. I’ll need to apply myself to considering them fully. Thank you.
Thank you
I think it depends a lot on what you enjoy. What are you looking to get from these holidays?
Relaxation? Travelling abroad? Travelling to new parts of the UK? Visiting specific landscapes like countryside, woods, the sea, mountains? Are there specific things you enjoy doing or want to experience more of? Do you love ancient history and want to visit museums and ancient architecture?
We can't advise if we don't know what you're looking for. What are your interests?
i usually stay at home.holidays are expensive, and getting there is also a issue as i dont wanna fuss with planes or trains and getting the right one at the right time and changing from one to another and all that fuss.
Dear NAS73180,
You may find it useful to have a look at our going on holiday page on our website which has a vast amount of information. The page contains a guide for autistic adults that can help you choose where to go and can also help you with things such as deciding how to get there, preparing for the trip and with some practical considerations that can make the trip easier.:
