Employment Tribunal Help

Hello everyone.

I have to take my previous employer to tribunal as they constructively dismissed me. I made an error in July last year and it really caused a long term meltdown which kicked it all off.

I am lucky as I was known as the 'Autistic Lawyer' in New Zealand where I was a Barrister. However, I am looking for an expert witness who can analyse the meltdown and assess whether it was AS caused and what symptoms were shown.

Anyone have any ideas please?

  • well if your already a lawyer/barrister you know more on law than us so you should be fine.

as for a witness you cant fabricate a witness and i doubt any of us was there to witness the event. so we by law cannot be a witness to something we didnt witness.

  • An expert witness is not a fabricated witness. They are an expert who is brought in to look at evidence and give an opinion on it. A forensic specialist is a common type of expert witness. But you also get psycologists acting as expert witnesses. Very relivent in lawsuits involving autism where they may have to testify as to the effects autism can have on peoples actions etc.
