Does anyone know of any trustworthy uk based pen friend schemes? I would like to make friends but can’t do so in the neurotypical way. Thank you

    The spectrum magazine used to do a pen pal section. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with people didn't reply to me, vanished without warning (i was upset, annoyed and should of told me. The person had a learning disability);and had a successful one until sending me gifts/money (rather strange); that's why I'm here and found some pen pals on the community forum.

    There was a pen friend scheme in my area set up by local CMHT but it closed during Covid. I'm hoping I'll make friends here, if people don't get fed up with me first!

    NAS Community Forum = my recommendation (ie here!)

    I have found kinship here, via the pen/keyboard.  It takes time.  Persevere.
