Hi everyone, I've finally got to the end of my two year waitlist and have been given an assessment appointment for mid-February. It says on the info sheet that I probably won't get a diagnosis that day, and that I may have to wait a while for the Diagnostic Report comes through?? Any ideas on how long I might be waiting? I got myself all worked up at the thought of this being finally it, I hope it isn't too much longer now...

I was told I'm autistic on the day and got my diagnostic report two months later.
According to my calendar, my first assessment appointment was 21st February, the second was 8th March and the follow up where they told me their conclusions was 21st March.
But I imagine it varies quite a bit. Me having it done in two sessions by two different people probably adds a bunch of extra waiting while they discuss it. If yours is one appointment with one person it'll probably be a lot faster.
