My mother and father very cold

My dad is very cold towards me but my mum is very supportive and understanding of my Autism. I think my dad struggles to understand me and isn't sure what to say, maybe worried he'll say or do something wrong? 

Have you tried talking to your parents? It might help them and you if you can air out how you feel and any problems that are present.
