Hello everyone. I have started a YouTube channel about autism, which I hope will become a useful resource for both autists and neurotypical people. You can see my first video via the link below:

I think she sees the funny side now, and I think my recent autism diagnosis has helped her to forgive me (it's certainly helped me to forgive myself).
Hey! She married you because she loves you. Therefore, if she had felt upset, I'm sure she has since forgiven you.
Give it a few years and it will probably be something you and your wife will laugh about... unless you're both already at the stage of being able to see the funny side.
Thank you. Without YouTube, I may never have found out that I'm autistic. Autism from the Inside, Yo Samdy Sam, Adult with Autism, Foster on the Spectrum, and Ponderful are some of the channels that have helped me a lot.
Thank you.
Thank you - I'm glad you liked the video. Yes, I'm moritified that I let my wife down. The thought of doing this tortured me for many months.
It’s interesting as my mum and I have referred to ourselves as aliens ever since I remember and we still do- it has a positive connotation for us :).
Thank you for sharing that link Autistic Not Alien. I watched the video about your wedding nightmare and thought it was so well done and came across really well.
I will admit that it caused me to chuckle. Whilst I could understand things from your perspective, I could also understand why your wife may not have been too happy about the thing you had omitted to include in your wedding speech.
You are welcome! I hope you enjoy or find the content insightful!
Hi Shooting Star
You are very welcome! Glad you are already subscribed to Aucademy!
Maybe you will find Kristy Forbes channel interesting?
In terms of other suggestions, the channel I am Autistic, Now What? is good as is Nigh Functioning Autism:

https://youtube.com/@nighfunctioningautism?si=qdG4-4S7cU_BFWmg - Perspectives on being a Black autistic AAC user
thanks for the second link, I hadn't come across that one, sure I will be binging their content later!
Thanks Ausome, I got all excited then thinking it would be a new channel I can follow the realised I'm already subscribed to them when I clicked the link, my memory is truly patchy at the moment. Any other suggestions gratefully received
If you like watching autistic YouTube channels, you may like the Aucademy channel - autistic education on autistic experiences.
It is absolutely fantastic, with loads of free in depth videos about a range of topics related to autistic experiences:
https://youtube.com/@aucademy6195?si=PAbtyPpc3ZmomxIRAlso Kristy Forbes channel is fantastic if you want to learn more about the autistic profile PDA - Pervasive Drive for Autonomy (also known as ‘Pathological’ Demand Avoidance):

congrats on taking that step to help others, I've found youtubers talking about autism & ADHD so inspiring, insightful and educational and I'm not sure I would have coped with realising later in life I was AuDHD without them and this forum of course.
Looking forward to seeing you next video
You are very welcome! I hope your channel becomes successful.
Thank you very much.
Great idea! Thanks for educating about autistic experiences!
