How Head Injuries Affect Autistic People and Their Close Ones

How Head Injuries Affect Autistic People and Their Close Ones
King's College London scientists are investigating how head injuries affect autistic adults. Head injury can lead to unpleasant symptoms, mental health challenges, communication difficulties, or sometimes no issues at all. They're also interested in hearing from someone close to the affected person (optional).

Who can join?
Group 1:
 Autistic Adults (18 or older)
Experienced a head injury resulting in passing out or feeling dazed/confused

Group 2 (optional):
An adult chosen by, and well-known to, the autistic person
Willing to discuss the impact of the head injury

What's involved?
Participants will complete two questionnaires and have a conversation about the head injury (online or in person options). Topics will include mental and physical health, sensory sensitivity, and social/healthcare experiences. Suggesting another person for their views is optional. The session takes about 1 hour

Compensation: a £20 Love2Shop voucher.  Any travel expenses will be compensated
