Hi my daughter is 20 and has a diagnosis of ASD, she has a boyfriend wo is 23 and also has a diagnosis of ASD. They both get PIP and both work (not full time but they do work) they are now talking about moving in together and obviously this is quite a stressful time for them and for us as parents. can anyone offer any advice about what we can do to help them. They would need some assistance if they lived together as safety would be an issue, we live in Lancashire and I cant find what help if any would be available, any advice, point in the right direction would be great. thanks
Hello NAS70849,
Moving out of one's parent home is a big step for anyone. The NAS website has a directory of services and if you search by location, you might find a service that could help your daughter.
Here is the link: https://www.autism.org.uk/directory
All the best,
