Autistic people's experience of participating in court and tribunal proceedings: Autistic and justice system community perspectives

In this study, researchers at the University of Bath are aiming to better understand the experiences of autistic people in court and tribunal settings and how court-based adaptations contribute to autistic people’s experience of giving evidence.

We are seeking: (1) Autistic adults (diagnosed or self-identified) with direct experience of participating in and/or giving evidence in court or tribunals; (2) Family members/carers who have supported an autistic person participating in and/or giving evidence in court or tribunals; (3) Legal professionals with experience of working with autistic people in court or tribunals.

Participants can take part in either an online survey or an interview on Microsoft Teams with a member of the research team. The study lasts approx. 60 minutes. £10 shopping voucher as a thank you for taking part.
