Hi have a son with autism feeling isolated it just me and him no support family or friends it becoming to much to be honest no where to turn and my mental health is suffering because of this is there any mums that want to chat or even have coffee sometime have no support network.
Hello, don't know where you're located, just a thought, but maybe you could join a local carers support group? Although not autism specific, they would understand some of what you're going through, they usually have coffee mornings etc. When registered at your GP as an unpaid carer, they should be able to recommend local groups etc.
Important things for us to know to offer helpful advice would be:
1 - what age is your son?
2 - is he officially diagnosed as autistic?
3 - what part of the country are you from?
