I wonder if anyone uses text to speech for communication and phone calls...

I wonder if anyone can recommend anything...

I was thinking about the Microsoft Azure Text to Speech service but it looks so difficult to set up.

I wonder if this works for anyone...

    What sort of context will this be used in? I imagine the lead time in typing a response to a spoken question that is not just a word or two would be unrealistic.

    I had some experience with Dragon Naturally Speaking text to speech software but it was pretty clunky and slow.

    It may be better to rely on things like text messages. WhatsApp (even voice messages if you can manage these) and emails which lack the time lag issues that any solution requiring typing, sending, converting, downloading and playing involves.
