URGENT RESPONSE REQUIRED PLEASE BEFORE I GIVE MY SON MEDICATION FOR THE 1ST TIME

hI MY SON IS UNDER A PAEDIATRICIAN but has not yet had a formal diagnosis he wakes up every night about 3am and his paed has prescribed circadin to help him sleep and im very worried about giving it to him his paed says they are very safe , has anyone had any experience of this medication if so could u please let me know ASAP as im due to give him his first dose in the next hour

MY daughter who is 8yo takes Circadin and is fine.
Melatonin is a naturally occuring substance in the body, which in autistic people either there is not enough of or the body doesn't process it in the right way.
(By the way, block caps are considered "shouting" in the online world.)
