Can any ND truly claim to have found peace of mind?

I've spent a liftime trying to run away from myself.  The penny dropped with me some years ago how futile my ruminations were. I've tried giving myself permission to accept my status quo. It works for me in the short term but old habits die hard with my return to beating myself up every now and again.  Has anyone else succeeded in achieving this elusive peace of mind?

  • I believe that peace for me does exist, but it exists in the little-things and the little-wins, such as small accommodations and luxuries and victories.

Essentially I think that it is found in allowing yourself to take smaller and more-appropriate steps, whilst giving yourself permission to feel good about having moved forward, despite what you expected of yourself and what targets you started out with.

Sometimes its perfectly-acceptable to review the title of your story after having concluded your journey..
