A bit of background...
Around Christmas 2022 I requested asc self referral forms. In Feb this year I filled most of them in. In April my oldest received an asc diagnosis. Last month I saw a psychiatrist about my anxiety and my suspicions that I might be sutistic came up. He said I had some autistic traits.
Today I finally completed the asc self referral forms and made a copy of the psychiatrist's report to include. Now I am experiencing a lot of anxiety about the prospect of sending it all off.
It seems likely that the forms will now sit around at home gor a few more months...
That's great. Good luck!
Thank you. I have sent it off. I now assume that I will be waiting for years for anything to happen!
You got this far. It took me ages too. The thing is once you sent them off there are still potentially years to wait. Send them, nothing will happen straight away.
Good luck!
That is a really good way of looking at it. Thank you.
If you didn't think it was important for you, you wouldn't have come this far.
Maybe think about it this way: if you send them off and you get near to the front of the waiting list and change your mind, you can back out then; if you don't send it out, there's no option to change your mind and rewind time, so you're stuck with that extra wait.
Hi my forms arrived last weeks. Was very overwhelmed stiffed them back in envelope. We were due to move home last week, stressful but if fell through. A lot going on, so hubby said we will look at forms later this week. I have a date they have to be returned so can't hide from doing them.
I think you should do them a bit at a time, see if some one will help you.
We can only get answers and help if we do the forms.
