Has anyone seen this film? It looks great
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9098928/
It was quite good. I didn't know there was a film until now.
The book is good, but I think the film is definitely better. It’s provides brilliant and accurate representation of non speaking apraxic autistic people.
What did you think of the book?
I've seen this it's really good and shows autism in a positive way for once.
Watching this was what caused me to ask my mum and dad about autism and lead to my diagnosis.
Me too- I liked the book
I've read the book; not seen the film though.
Yes it’s brilliant!
There is some great representation of autistic apraxic non speakers. I particularly like Joss, he loves electricity boxes! I would definitely recommend it, watching it makes me proud to be autistic.
I love how freely autistic everyone is in the film, it’s beautiful. The film is definitely better than the book. I feel like I can relate to autistic non speakers so well because those in the film are so free to be autistic. No masking whatsoever!
I hope you enjoy it!
