I am a 50 year old woman who is diagnosed autistic and dyspraxic and likely also have ADHD (seeking formal assessment). I also strongly suspect I have non verbal learning disorder (where the person has average to above average spoken language skills but has abysmal Visio spatial skills among other aspects of visual processing) as I meet almost all the diagnostic criteria for it.
Is there anyone here who has had experience of NVLD?
If so did you manage to get any support through the NHS?

How does that pan out if a person has both?
Just interest. Don't think I do have NVLD, or ADHD or dyspraxia. I know I am defo Autistic and dyslexic, but they can bring spacial/visual probs too. I've no sense of direction. So many neurodivergence overlap.
Not heard of that one but errr... my visio spatial skills really suck; can't catch a ball, can't drive a car. couldn't navigate my way out of a paper bag and Oxford Circus reduces me to tears..list goes on.
Mind you I have Irlen's and I'm dyslexic- could have a lot to do with it. If I do have NVLD however would I distinguish that from autism or dyslexia?
I saw it as fitting better than ASD, though both fit. My research into and mentions of it to health professional tells me a very large percentage of them know f*** all about it.
