Resources Infodump - Autism & ADHD (and anything else related!)

Hi All!

As someone who is new to this journey I thought it would be really nice to have a place for people to collate all the resources that they have found useful in one place. This could be links to websites, youtube videos, names of books, images of infographics - whatever you have found useful.

I'll kick things off with some of the resources I have come across.

This website (of course) which has been excellent for learning about Autism and getting involved with the community.

The NHS website:
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/autism/
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder-adhd/
My standard go-to whenever I start a research journey for anything. It's a good base to jump off from.

Embrace Autism:
https://embrace-autism.com/
I
'm still working my way through this one! I have found the quizzes really helpful in validating my own traits but also identifying my Autistic traits. They have quizzes for related traits as well like Alexithymia. They also have information pages and articles.

Autisticality:
https://www.autisticality.co.uk/
H
as some nice infographics and PowerPoints on autism and related traits (including ADHD).

Neurodivergent Insights:
https://neurodivergentinsights.com/
H
as some interesting articles and infographics.

Autistic & Unapologetic:
https://autisticandunapologetic.com/
Some interesting articles.

Forest App:
https://www.forestapp.cc/
An app that I use to help maintain my focus on days where I am struggling. I like how it plants a virtual tree after a focus session so I can see my forest grow throughout the day.

Finch App:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.finch.finch&hl=en_GB&gl=US&pli=1
An app that I use to manage my goals and help encourage me to reflect on my experiences and my thoughts.

Atom Mindfulness App:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.subconscious.thrive&hl=en_GB&gl=US
The only way I have actually been able to build mindfulness meditation into my routine and it not feel overwhelming. I have been using it for a month now and I do feel calmer on days that I use it. I love how I plant a virtual tree whenever I complete a session.

Women & ADHD Podcast
https://open.spotify.com/show/73pS2o8wyO1SCYlp3pNztO
A podcast that I found really useful when I first discovered that it was likely I had ADHD and was interested in learning the male/female differences.

I'll add any others that I come across in the comments!
