Just thought I should remind everyone.
There's something to be said for having an older phone. Simpler times.
My first phone was a Nokia 6700.
I like how you are using "hashtags" even though you don't have a smart phone!
This wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! My phone just vibrated a little lol thought it would be louder to be honest.
Reason enough not to have one!
I am glad that I do not have a smart phone, #peaceful #Bliss
My son turned his off and I thought it said if you turned it off it would send the alert when you turned it on, but it didn't. I wondered if that is because he is under 18.
Both Android, the 02 phone received the text and alarm, the 3 phone did not.
I read on the gov.uk website that it only works on an IPhone or Android phone. Maybe that's why but I'm not sure
Same provider?
On one phone the text and alarm arrived at 2.59pm.
On the other phone, nothing, still waiting.
Yes my work phone went first and then about a minute later I jumped out of my skin for the 2nd time when my personal phone went off haha
So much for keeping my phone in a separate room because I went to investigate when I thought it was safe to check haha
Though not saying those words, just the message
Mine was voiceless but I’ve heard some people had a ‘protect and survive’ type lady
It wasn't as long as I thought.
I have a question, my husband"s alert started before mine. Did anyone else where there were more than one of you find the same?
So I jumped
It went early for me. Was watching the clock tock up to it so if wouldn’t make me jump and then it went at 2:59:25
Did this happen? It's after 3 and I haven't heard anything so I guess I successfully deactivated it?
Sounds like you are going to have an interesting afternoon. I guess a lot of people will do that. I would think that it would go up to max volume even if one has the volume down.
I have both my phones on and on maximum volume.
Thanks for the reminder. I completely forgot. Hopefully it won't be too loud but I might put my phone in another room just in case.
