Can you tickle yourself?

My feet are so hypersensitive it is unbearably ticklish even when I wash them myself, nobody else is allowed to touch them. But this podcast says most people can't tickle themselves apart from people who might be prone to psychosis because they struggle to tell if it is them doing it or someone else kind of, don't think I put that well, apologies. But I am fully aware it is me touching my feet, they are just so horribly hypersensitive. I wondered if any of you can tickle yourselves or not?

I absolutely hate and loathe being tickled, it is too overwhelming and makes me terrified and furious, I think it is just as bad as having pain inflicted on me. Anyone else?

  • I’ve never liked being tickled, don’t really like being touched full stop. I can remember a relative when I was quite young who thought it was funny to tickle me, they stopped after I vomited over them. Problem solved. I’ve always wondered how people can have massages, I couldn’t think of anything worse.
