Hi,
I have just been diagnosed with autism and was wondering if people could share how they found getting their diagnosis and also things they found useful for their family/partners to do so they could better understand autism.
Thanks

Congratulations on your diagnosis.
Mine was a massive relief. You suddenly realise just how well you have done with somethings in life and stop pressurising yourself over the stuff that's tough.
This forum was the best thing to help me wrap my head around stuff. As for friends and family, if they are open to it, lots of reading and talking to you; trying to learn your language just like you've been learning theirs all your life.
