Is anyone else on here interested in buses? I took my little one to the London Transport Museum yesterday and it was so nice seeing all the old buses again. I used to love going there when I was a kid

Buses are a real special interest for me especially the old ones. Routemasters are my favourite as I grew up going on them round London, even the smell of one can take me back to the old days. I love RTs too and Bristol Lodekkas, which were the buses used in On The Buses

Just wondered if anyone else shares this interest. I love trains as well, especially steam trains and old London Underground trains

  • My father, who is now dead was fascinated with buses. As a boy he used to go to the bus/coach park. As a child we sometimes went to bus rallies where they would have things like old bus signs for sale. People would be proudly shining their engines before they were judged. He used to have bus magazines and I am pleased to say they were passed on for other enthusiasts to enjoy.
