I have done something similar. One of my very favourite metal bands is the German band Rammstein. Their lyrics are in German, which I don't understand. I looked up the English translations of their lyrics online and printed them, along with the original German versions.

So I think what you've started is great!

Haha accidental song lyrics

I've been playing the same song on repeat on YouTube for an hour or so, and it interrupted the song to ask if I want to take a break. Hahaha

Actually, slight side-bar, but my brain has sometimes done that with song lyrics: thought 'what's an amusingly more formalised and overly-elaborate way to say that, and could it still be made to fit the music.' It helps while away the hours between this and final oblivion.

Ironically this is pretty close to an existing song lyric by the Pointer Sisters.

No reason you shouldn't get excited over a new hobby that's hit like divine inspiration. Hope you gat much enjoyment out of it :-)
