Radio 2 Michael Ball program, interview with Pete Wharmby.

Very good interview today on  BBC Radio 2, Pete Wharmby is autistic, an author and autism advocate. The interview was linked to World Autism Acceptance, Pete gave a really good insight into how autism affects autistic people and how we can act when being overwhelmed. He tried to explain how the world still mostly thinks autistic people are middle class white boys, he explained that women are often overlooked. He wasn’t mansplaining, I just thought it was a positive interview.

It was today’s Michael Ball Program, 02,04,23, it’s 1hr and 25 minutes into the program, Paddy O’Connell was standing in for Michael. It’s available on BBC Sounds.
