Army

Is there anything I can do to try and join the army? I have an official diagnosis of Autism and now I'm really wishing I didn't because I've read before that it's taken in to account when applying to join the army. I've always passionate about the army, I love the idea of helping others and making a difference. My dad and grandad were both in the army and I really want to do the same. I'm determined but I've no idea how to join what with the Autism. My mum says it will be too difficult because of the problems my Autism causes me. But I think I'll be ok and it's worth a try, otherwise I'm constantly at home watching movies all day. Existing but not exactly living.

Parents
  • yeah the army is very picky.

i didnt have diagnosis, i got declined due to being unsociable and not proving i have a social life which they found suspicious... so they are so picky on personality disorders that if you so much as have the symptoms of not having any social life they will decline you.
