The Autism Show 2023

Just bought my tickets for the show in London in June. Have been meaning to go for a number of years.

I could not find a ticket for autistic adults that wasn't a concession? A concession is not applicable to me, so wasn't sure which type of ticket to buy. Please could you advise. In the end, I went for family member/carer as I'm not going as a healthcare professional.

UPDATED: Just noticed the comma in the concession ticket. So that is the ticket I could have got even though I don't get DLA or PIP?

I'm looking forward to it, but not quite sure what to expect.

Anyone who's been before, I'd be interested in any pointers.

Thanks

Mrs Snooks

  • Hello,

I went last year and had a great day out. I simply do not understand the negative comments as I found the whole event was welcoming to autistic people and if you read the web page there is a note to say that the NAS do their best to accommodate with wider aisles but there is a limit to what they can do. I did find it overwhelming at times and was made very wellcome in the quiet room and met some great people while in there. All I can say is go and see for yourself but be prepared and take ear defenders if you use them.
