Autonomy Plus Assessment

I had my session with Sara. It was an exhausting but cathartic experience. We discussed everything and answered many questions but it was a very friendly welcoming experience and Sarah absolutely understood me and my answers. I have been put forward for a formal diagnosis next week.

Cool, there should be lots of evidence for mine too then, with all the talking and the 15 pages of notes I sent her!

Dr Pravin is nice just like Sara. Mine was about 30 mins as there was lots of evidence. Didn’t need much exploration 

Congratulations on your official diagnosis! What's Dr Pravin like? How long did it take? I was talking with Sara for nearly 5 hours but I think Dr Pravin will be quicker.

Glad it went well  I just had my assessment with Dr Pravin today. I am officially Autistic  . Again very good experience and feels like such a weight lifted after struggling for years. Went out for pizza to celebrate lol 

Mine went really well too! Enjoyed a very long chat unpicking my traits, she reckons I am autistic and ADHD, yay! And not PDA, also yay! I was worried about PDA as i am very demand avoidant, but she reckons it is "normal" autistic avoidance combined with ADHD procrastination and my physical disability making things extra difficult rather than the PDA profile. Sadly Dr Pravin is having a probably well deserved holiday so my formal assessment is a few weeks off, but it is not urgent so I'm fine with that.

I have celebrating by adding Au to my name here! Considering adding HD at the end as well, but not decided on that yet.
