Anyone feel like British cops suck when it comes to dealing with hate crimes commited against us?

Apologies for my lack lack of grammah and spelling as I'm dyspraxic hopefully you make sense of my wording.  But does anyone feel they usually get discriminated against police in the UK simply because your a white male Autistic do not seen as a priority of a hate crime victim. For example if I phoned up to say as a woman that I was at a bar and some guy tried to lure me in to back of his van for a free ride home which started off as 10 quid then haggled it down 5 for some reason I'm pretty sure they'd of been over in a flash taking a statement from for it. But because I'm a white male and autistic if I phone up to accuse somone of potentially grooming me and my other autistsic Freind. They 1st of all ask what is your Sexuality then they ask what is race basically to see if your priority or now. But it the way this guy was it sounded like he was trying to commit a hate a crime as know one offers you a lift home that takes half an for £5 quid unless they were planning on beating you up or something else. In the end me and my friend new something was up so phoned for a taxi and left the bar as soon as we could.  But something sounded real shady like he could tell my mate was disabled straight up as he has ceraballpaulsy so has a speech impediment which is why I reckon he targeted us at the bar as it was close to closing but when I phoned the police they took my statement haven't heard back from them since. I've had to report other hate crimes in the past too and literally nothing. Is this common for all Autistics weather your white or not? Just curious? As in police not taking hate crimes seriously?

  • The police services of the UK have greater problems in the UK than hate crime, the issue with police development in the UK is that since 2011 it has been a political entity, that has a foresight of 4 years.
Since the creation of the Police Crime Commissioners, the police have been doomed to fail and stagnate, because they have no means of holding the PCC’s to account for their agendas.
The police services of the UK is in no position to enact meaningful-change, because chief-constables are now completely beholden, to the whims of ignorant ex-politicians who are looking for a second-wind.

  • By the way the definition of a hate crime requires them to prove you were in some way targeted as a victim because of your disability … but operating an unlicensed taxi is arguably a crime against the state so I’m not sure you’d be considered a victim.

  • It’s also impossible to prove any illegality in that situation beyond operating as an unlicensed taxi. The police can and should do something about unlicensed taxis but those cases aren’t easy to make because it’s generally one persons word against another and at the end of the day the law is only going to give someone a slap on the wrist for it (compared to a violent crime).

Sure it looks very suspicious and that’s a good reason for them to pursue it but they are never going to prove intent to commit a violent crime based on what you’ve said.
