Trans and autistic?

I feel like I have been masking my entire life until now. I’m not diagnosed and with everything else that is happening right now it will wait a bit longer.
I identify as a transgender man, queer (have had relationships with both sexes) and now am coming to terms with autism as well.  I’ve had to hide my identity, feelings and emotions since I was a child, mostly because I have had issues with my Dad since a teenager when I initially came out as lesbian. I’m feeling very angry at the moment which isn’t helped by my testosterone treatment which I have just started. Can anyone relate to this? Thank you

  • What a lot for you to have to deal with and try to understand. There is so much confusion, so many difficulties with autism so to have to deal with that as well as gender and sexuality difficulties must be hard and exhausting for you. Congratulations on being so open. I'm happy for you and want you to know we are all behind you with this and will help support you through your autistic and gender journey.

I relate massively. The confusion can be overwhelming and you'll always encounter those who judge you for your choices but they are your choices and as long as you're happy then that's all that matters.
