Hello,
I am after some advice please of anyone can help.
I'm 36 with a 30 year history of struggles which were labelled as Mental Health problems as a 6 year old and so that's the only thing that has ever been considered as the problem with me. Anyway, I've been working with a MH consultant who after reviewing my history said she believes I am Autistic and has referred me for assessment. However, I am looking at a very long wait time so I was looking in to Right to Choose but I'm confused. If I've already been referred have I missed my chance to use Right to Choose? If I haven't and I request transfer to a private provider who can see me much faster do I still have to pay the costs?
I was sent some pre diagnostic screening tests from a private provider and looking at the results it says AQ - 47 EQ - 7 RQ - 26 CAT-Q - 138 and my SDQ came back as the highest category out of 4. There is also a note on there stating I scored particularly highly on the Impact this has on my daily life.
Regardless of what these results mean, can I use them as evidence?
Thank you, sorry for all the questions
