Late Autism diagnosis

Hello everyone,

I am 24 years old, and 2 weeks ago I had my ASD assessment. This has been difficult for me to process, as although things start to make more sense, I am left feeling unsure of what I should be doing. I haven't received any post-diagnosis help as of yet, and I am unsure of what resources or if anything, I can be using to help process this and what autism means to me.

I would appreciate some suggestions of resources to use that others have found useful if possible.

Thank you!

  • Hi Kimbers. I was diagnosed just under 3 weeks ago at the age of 37. I won’t lie - I’ve been on a bit of a rollercoaster since then, but this forum has helped immensely. I’m still taking time to process the news whilst re-examining my whole life through an entirely new lens.

I can’t direct you to any specific resources besides this forum, but I’m sure others will be able to assist with that.
