Would really appreciate some advice

Hi Everyone,

I am attempting to create a plan to help through panic attacks and SH. I was wondering if anyone here has created such a plan, or had any ideas that could be included.

Hopefully this may help a few people.

Anyway, I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Thank you All x

  • The problem is once you are in a panic attack you are unlikely to be sufficiently in control to look at or follow a plan.

It really depends what the trigger is and prevention is better than cure. Removing yourself from a situation or environment, to avoid triggering an attack, is preferable.

When they do happen I find that reducing all sensory input helps me calm down quicker.

  • Thank you Autonomistic, my biggest cause of panic attacks at the moment is myself. I will try reducing sensory input when home, and try the others when I'm out. I do run the risk of over planning and over complicating, which will likely prove useless.
