Diagnosed at 50 but GP not informed

Hi;

I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Condition) in October 22 (Lancashire Autism Service).

They spoke to me via video call to go through how and why they came to this diagnosis and I recieved a copy of the report.

They told me I would also get a copy of the letter they would send to my GP but i have not recieved this and so decided to call my GP. They have not recieved any letter from Lancashire Autism Service about this. Lancashire Autism Service has now closed and i am unable to contact them. I'm not sure what to do now if I need to do anything. Does my GP need confrimation for my health records? or do I just take a copy of the letter to them.

    Yes your GP will need a copy of your diagnostic report for your health records ~ so you will need to get a copy delivered (recorded delivery recommended), or you can take it to them yourself ~ but the postal option may be a better way about it so that your health records are up to date.
