I was thinking today (while in the local botanical gardens enjoying the frost glittering on the grass) how nice it is to be single, childfree and freelance. Sometimes I feel insecure - what if some disaster arises I don't know how to deal with? - but being able to do what I want, when I want, and not be answerable to anyone is brilliant for my needs as an autistic person.
