Good morning to everybody i am not really sure how to start this off its a ticky subject indeed a few mouths ago i was approced by the prevent due to comments i made durring a burnout/ mental health crisis /Meltdown the whole experaince has left me feeling issolated labbled and let down I was acused of having views i did not have and asked personal questions regarding things i am not comtable talking about I DID NOT CONSENT to anything and the whole time i was being gaslight into saying i did I understand this might be a controversial subjects to talk about and wont be surprised if this gets taken down so apologies to the mods inadvance and forgive my spelling mistake

  • From what I’ve heard prevent is a joke. For example I’ve heard of suicidaly depressed highschoolers being referred to prevent for saying they were so suicidal that they’d probably make a good suicide bomber.

    Let that sink in. The teacher didn’t refer them to mental health for that comment, just prevent. Some one who at that point had already attempted suicide.

    people with autism are disproportionately ’caught’ in the prevent program and all it seems to do is further alienate them.
