Watching television

Does anyone else here watch the way characters in shows to certain events? And bases it off what they’d seem as normal? Or like use it as practice for how I would react to the event?

does that make sense?

  • I’ve have watched tv and thought, ah ha, this is how they do it. To be honest it still ends in an epic fail. My wife has been teaching me about telephone conversations, I really struggle, people start this dance of, “ how are you?” I just do the, “ fine” I’ve now been told that I’m supposed to ask the question back. I now also see that it leaves a pregnant pause in the conversation. I find it puzzling, they don’t really want to know what is actually going on in my head. It still also doesn’t cure when I’m supposed to talk and not keep saying, “ sorry,” because I’m talking over people.
